This 400ml bottle is a great size for carrying to rehearsals - not so large that it is cumbersome and not so small it doesn't hold enough water.

The silicone inserts are removable making it very easy to clean out the bottle. It has a screw top lid that doubles as a cup - handy for soaking your reeds in when you are at a rehearsal. The silicone inserts make the bottle watertight allowing you to carry it without fears that water will leak everywhere.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Sorry to hear it's not exactly what you're after.
If you are after a smaller water pot for reeds then perhaps have a look at the Magnetic reed water cup which can be found in the link below. This one can easily attach to metal music stands and is a lot smaller for transporting in music bags and cases. The actual water bottles are designed to hold 400ml so the cup can double up to hold and soak reeds but you also have a water bottle on hand, useful for during concerts!

Spare the knife

Using a flat metal plaque can blunt your knife and also cause the reed to break because it is too flat. The convex ebony plaque solves both problems.

The cane is excellent and the order was promptly dispatched.

I really like using Crook & Staple for reeds and accessories, another batch of great cor reads which work brilliantly without tweaking! Very reliable when playing and rich tone. The wooden cor reed case I got last year is definitely the best case by far (and I've tried a few), reeds fit securely without risk of bashing edges etc

Have tried it a couple of times. Appears to do exactly what it claims - is very comfortable, easy to assemble and takes some of the strain off my thumb, hand and wrist, without getting in the way.
